The Blind

I went hunting the other day and I made my own ground blind. Do you want to know how to make your own ground blind. Its really easy. You go find 4 sticks about 1 1/2 in diameter and about two feet long and then stick them in the ground cross ways about 4 feet apart and then go get a long stick about 4 feet long and put it on top of the crosses and then just stand sticks up against it . Then you got a ground blind.

My Huge Buck Encounter

The first time I ever got a shot at a real buck is when I was really little. I had buck fever really bad. He had to have had antelers that had 20 points. We watched him come in front of our home. Then he crossed the road. We didn't even have the broad heads put together yet. Broad heads are things that go on the ends of arrows and they are really sharp to cut the deer. Then we watched him run away. I went across the street and sat for like 2 minutes and down he came 5 yards in front of me and all I did was look. I was so mad.

My First Deer

It was in youth season late in the day. Me and my dad were out hunting for a long time and didn't see anything. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a doe with two of her fawns. I was 9 years old at the time and i was using a 410. I turned around and aimed at the biggest doe. I pulled back the hammer and was ready to pull the trigger when dad saw a bigger doe coming out oh the woods, but it was too late. I shot her, then she just stood there. then dad said to shoot her again. So I did, she went down this time, but it wasn't for long. Then she got up and went to the woods. The story goes on for a long time I ended up shooting her five more times. I finally hit her in the heart. That was the end of her. I was so bad of a shot that I hit her in the hoof.I'm a way better shoot now than i was then.
